Fighting

Whether you prefer fighting with sword and shield or fencing, Storvik's army has room for both! Don't worry if you don't have your own gear yet. We have loaner gear, and there's plenty you can learn before you ever suit up.

Practice

Fighter practice takes place every Monday evening for both heavy armored and rapier fighters at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in College Park, MD from 7:00-10:00 pm. The fighter practice is in the hall up the metal steps. For the sake of the floor, no marking shoes/boots and no kneeling in heavy armor. For questions, contact our Knight Marshal. If you need to borrow loaner gear, contact our Quartermaster. Directions: Take your best route to the Washington Beltway (I-495). Take exit 25 (Rt. 1) South, and follow Rt. 1 South. After about 2 miles, take a left onto College Ave (The MD book exchange is on left). The church is two blocks down on the left.

Archery

During warmer months, archery practices are convened by Grazia Morgano at Adelphi's archery range, on Sundays at noon. Please email ahead if you will need loaner gear. View Larger Map

In the usual Atlantian tradition, all Storvik events involving archery are novelty shoots, featuring fun (and sometimes moving!) targets made by the barony's wonderful artists.
